Day Before Departure

I drove to the Snowdon area today using side roads because the Decarie Expressway was backed up. Not hard to tell why: accidents due to nutty driving in the falling snow. One SUV came rapidly sliding down the hill on Decarie (the street) wobbling back and forth, nearly bashing me. The driver of a van, trying to park, obliged me to stop and wait while she accelerated backwards into a snow filled spot. Unfortunately she backward-charged into a parked car instead. Later a braking truck ahead of me almost collided with a bus.

Upon arrival I serendipitously chanced upon a parking spot for myself just as it was being vacated. That was nice. Even so, I was relieved to arrive back home still in possession of a road-worthy vehicle.
